Chairman's Message

On behalf of the Inland Northwest's Local Federal Coordinating Committee (LFCC), I would like to welcome you to the Inland Northwest Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) website.

One of our LFCC's goals has been to improve communications with the Federal workforce and the non-profit agencies who may benefit from the CFC. We hope this website becomes an effective tool to help accomplish this goal.

The Inland Northwest campaign area covers the twelve northeastern Washington counties and ten northern Idaho counties. The mission of the CFC is to promote and support philanthropy through a program that is employee focused, cost-efficient, and effective in providing Federal employees the opportunity to improve the quality of life for all. The nearly $480,000 plus raised through our CFC this past year will greatly benefit 130 local, and many regional, national, and international non-profit organizations providing health and human service benefits in our own communities and throughout the world.

Giving this year exceeded all previous years in spite of the special appeals for natural disaster responses that occurred throughout last year and into the campaign season. We are working hard to expand on the eligible, local non-profit agencies in the current year's campaign brochure and hope that the 2008 campaign will bring continued support to our local communities.

I would like to personally thank those who gave of their time and talents as LFCC board members, campaign coordinators and account executives during last years annual campaign. I would also like to thank the hundreds of Federal civilian, Postal, and Military donors whose generous contributions are supporting hundreds of eligible non-profit organizations that provide needed health and human service benefits throughout the area. You accomplish so much with your time, talents, and CFC gifts.
